I need ideas for what to have in my homebith kit. also if there is anyone who has a scale and a stethoscope i could borrow or rent (i can't pay a whole lot) for my birth i would apprecciate it.

Hi! Everyone has something a little different but for me I have a plain plastic shower curtain for under the sheets, you could even get an extra sheet at a thrift store, a cord clamp or whatever you choose to tie the cord, sterile scissors, peri bottles, baby hat , those mesh pants, large pads (put a few in the freezer with some water,great for after birth) something for placenta, disposable measuring tape. Maybe a few chux pads. I think that's what I have .Thanks! Cheryl:-)

Thanks for reminding me about the pads in the freezer! those things are great after birth.
