Welcome!

The main purpose of the Oklahoma City Area Homebirth Meetup group is to provide support and education about home birth and natural birth. Many times women find only opposing opinions and derision when choosing to birth outside the "normal" American way and this is the place to come to find support. This is also the place to come if you are looking for more information on different methods of childbirth. Maybe your previous births didn't go the way you imagined or hoped and you are looking for another way. Maybe you are tired of hearing "at least your baby was healthy" and still feeling like you are missing something. Maybe you have heard all the horror stories your friends tell and want to avoid that from the very beginning and are looking for ideas and information or at least someone who won't think you're crazy for believing that your body knows how to birth without all the interventions.
