Sorry I never updated this until now! We are combining with OKC Yoga Mamas Meetup for Diaper Day to discuss anything you ever wanted to know about the ins and outs of cloth diapering! The last one was very helpful and a lot of fun. Hope to see you there!

Join us on July 18th. We will tentatively discuss vaccinations and exemptions. I will have forms available to opt out for school admission as well as discussing the pros and cons of vaccinating on schedule vs. delaying or skipping them all together. Everyone is welcome to bring their own experiences and points of view, just please respect others as well. I look forward to seeing you there!

We need to reschedule this meetup due to a scheduling conflict. Please join us and the OK Birth Network at Babies R Us on Saturday the 21st for the Love Letters project. This is an opportunity for you to write to the place(s) you have had babies and tell them what you loved (or didn't) about your birth to let them know what their consumers want. Then join us on the 28th for our regular meetup at Heaven Sent Births. We have several new members who are currently pregnant and exploring their options, so we look forward to meeting you and talking all about BIRTH!

Happy New Year!! I hope everyone had a nice holiday season and is enjoying the new year. OK, we have 82 members in this group...which is AWESOME that there are so many homebirth supporters, but, we have lately had very low turnout, so low in fact that we cancelled both November and December meetings. We love getting together with you and being available for information and support, but we love being with our families on the weekends too. All this is to say that we are going to continue meetup on a trial basis for the next 6 months. This is your group and we want to serve you in whatever way you need but we need your input. What do you want/need from a homebirth/natural birth support group? Please come with ideas or email or post them on the message board. If interest doesn't pick up and everyone has moved on then we will discontinue the group and anyone interested can move over to a yahoo group and we can meet as needed/desired. So, I hope to see or hear from lots of you on or by the 17th.
