About Hudson Valley Homebirth Support Group

Our membership is comprised of women (and their families) from all walks of life and many different areas of the Hudson Valley. Many, but not all of us have had or are planning to have a homebirth. All of us believe birth is a natural, normal process that needs to be respected and revered, not (at least most of the time) interrupted by unneccessary medical intervention.

The group's mission is to support each other as well as to educate others about the benefits of natural, non-intervention birth.

At present this group is private, simply for the security of our members and their families. This is not meant to make the group exclusive - please don't hesitate to apply for membership if you're interested!
