You'll get invited to our Meetups as soon as they're scheduled!
~ Considering a birth at home? Do you have questions or looking for support?
~ Planning a birth that falls out of the "norm" and want to build your resources and confidence?
~ First pregnancy and looking for a group that promotes strength and ability, and one that does not believe birth has to be a medical emergency or traumatic event?
Our group incorporates support and education through the involvement of local midwives, doulas, & experienced parents. Our group is not exclusive to homebirthing, nor we do not presume homebirthing to be a superior birthing method, to that end, we invite all families with interest in learning more about the process of home birth and/or looking for support. We also encourage women and families who simply either have, or want to have a healthy perspective of pregnancy, that does not include fear, trauma, or dread.
Come and join us for a time of sharing birth stories, future birth plans and birth questions/answers.
This group is for anyone who supports women & our natural ability to grow and birth babies, whether you are an expectant mama, daddy, partner, friend or birth professional! We also encourage parents of newborns and infants to come and enrich our group with their experiences and encouragement.
Birth professionals, come support and encourage the families involved. (Note: Please avoid sales pitches, but your cards, etc., are welcome.)
We will continue our focus of A Calm & Welcomed Birth in our effort to encourage women to view their pregnancy and birth with confidence and ability.
Our group welcomes all interested and non-judging adults, teens and babes in arms. There is no childcare available during our meetings, but your children are welcome if you wish them to come. And for our nursing moms: our leader is one herself and encourages an atmosphere of acceptance and appreciation for the art.
