The Greater N. Atlanta Homebirth Meetup Group as well as all Homebirth Meetup groups has and have a great potential to make a world of difference in protecting our rights to choose where and with whom we give birth. It has been a long time known fact that small groups of individuals that learn together, share together and are united by and committed to their interest tend to make huge differences in the world. Parents, consumers and constituents everywhere have the right to choose where and with whom they give birth to their child/children but those rights have been and are being taken away. This group is not specifically a political agenda group it is a homebirth resource formed by a supportive community of people, parents, children and professionals who promote homebirth in and around N. Atlanta, GA and specifically in Paulding, Cobb, Douglas, Cherokee and Bartow counties while increasing awareness of homebirth safety and options in GA.

Our focus is to provide opportunities for Homebirthing families to come together for support, resources and friendships with one another.
Our mission is to bring awareness to the option of homebirth and midwives while providing educational materials and gatherings surrounding birth and parenting issues.
