Introduction

I am a traditional midwife serving metro Atlanta and north to Tennessee. I have a small, holistic homebirth practice. I appreciate the opportunity to meet women in the homebirth community. Check out my web site, especially the photos.

Have you given birth at home? With a midwife or without?

I had one c-sec and then a home birth. I wish I had more babies but I am too old now.

What would you like to discuss at meetings?

One topic is support for midwifery legislation in GA. This group could be a valuable asset in its group strength

What do you have to offer this group? What would you like to get from it?

I could do talks on many subjects but don't want to become the regular speaker of the group. I really hope this becomes a member fueled group. What you have to offer is what I want from the group.

What is your most profound birth memory?

I remember standing with my son's head out of me for what seemed like 10 minutes. The room seemed golden and hazy. Then I felt this surge of energy and roared him out into my own hands. Awesome experience.
