Introduction

Hi everyone! I am a stay at home mom to 2 great little boys (2yrs old and 6 months).

Have you given birth at home? With a midwife or without?

I had my first via c-section, and my second at my midwifes home.

What would you like to discuss at meetings?

hmm... how to get insuance companys to pay for a hoomebirth, the way our culture thinks of homebirth, changing the dumb laws that are against us birthing heathy babies in out own homes.

Are you a childbirth professional?

no, but I would love to be a doula or midwife someday when my kids are older.

What do you have to offer this group? What would you like to get from it?

I'm not really sure what it is that I have to offer this group, just that I love homebirth!

What is your most profound birth memory?

When after 22 hours of labor my baby finally was born and I could see him fully awake looking lovingly into my eyes.
